2.) In contrast to the web presentation (Silk), the app offers the Pro function 'Advanced Keyboard', as well as switching between link-representation and 'Copy to Input'. That's it. When 'Copy to input' is no range selection possible, the whole set is copied.
3.) The app does not provide any added value features that might arise from touch operation. Not even the most basic: zoom images or plots by Pinch. On graphical input of formulas do not think only ...
4) Compared to the web presentation has the app the following disadvantages:
- Response Time (current status), amazingly, still lame as the web presentation (Silk).
- No history; especially annoying because the 'Back' button stops the app and thus becomes the Hate-Key, especially the navigation bar is allowed to stand, rather than hide it. Especially on a one-window system (Tabs featured the app certainly not) is extremely difficult an interactive work.
- Linked sites are rendered in the app: lame, with functional impairment, and with inconsistent Back-key usage.
- The extended keyboard requires so much Toggelei that would equally well typed the equivalent ASCII command. This is particularly troublesome because space remains unused.
- The extended keyboard is not an extension of the built-in keyboard, but replaces it. The layout of the keyboard replacement deviates from the normal layout. In addition, the insertion of the replacement keyboard hakelt noticeably.
5.) The display in the app is a little entrümpelter than the (ultimately comfortable with insertion of advertising for 'Pro' funded) Web display, which is quite a focus on the real task relevant.
Conclusion: The 2.30 I donate Wolfram happy. But I would prefer it done to ensure that the app provides real added value. At least the history needs to be replenished.
