The evaluation ultimately depends on the expectations from:

I bought the headphones - without hearing sample, big mistake on my part - due to the description of 'powerful, bass-driven stereo sound'. I have already had good experience with the Sennheiser HD 465, which, however, was too great for training purposes and for everyday life. I decided, therefore, again relying on Sennheiser.

First, let me say clearly for whom this headset is completely unsuitable: For people like me who like Hiphop (or whatever may be the actual name: Eminem, 50Cent, Dre, and all relatives) heard equally as for all those on House, Dubstep, Techno and all other bass-driven musical genres are.

Good headphones are much more for people to those who want to spend a lot of money without headphone and want to wear without serious headphones, want to listen to sound sophisticated music that does not live by Bass. I've been using the product still happy when I, Chopin or similar hear Beethoven (which I like doing on said HD 465 fall back).

I have the problem now solved for me so: For the bass-driven music I've bought the Sony MDR-XB600 (or 400) which come on well to the Beats by Dre or the Streets by 50, but may in the highs slightly more and only costs a third of them.

For training, these are, however, equally unsuitable because they do not sit tight enough and slip regularly. To this end, I recommend the AKG K 518, which lie in playing just behind the aforementioned Sony MDR XB, but combine the same stresses and rock clinging to the skull. For the AKG model but still can not conceal the following: You are not recommended for people wearing glasses in my experience in everyday life, as does the large pressure at the top after a maximum one hour by hook behind the ear very unpleasantly.

CONCLUSION

I always recommend any headphones before ordering in a retail store sample heard. For product: The Sennheiser HD 219 are unsuitable for bass reproduction, also suitable for use in motion (jogging, 'pump' and other sports). For other music and voice reproduction (radio plays and radio) the reviewed product does a wonderful performance at a more than fair price.
