The eye cup (rubber) is perfectly fine, the plastic used for the bracket is spoede and broke when mounting the adapter, but could be stuck. The adapter the whole structure is very far away from the housing, passes through the column by design resulting to a lot of light into the mouthpiece. Since I still have an old eyecup with torn rubber part, but metal support, it was possible the rubber shell to be mounted on the old bracket. ... (Unfortunately HAMA has the eyecups with metal holder is no longer in Program) ... I use this eye cup on a Pentax camera and do not want to rule out that the adapters for other models fit better.
