..... That I evaluate an article that I have not bought. But I would like to bring as my previous reviewers expressed that the price of the NB-12L is a rip-off! Unfortunately, I have not asked before buying the G1X II after the price of replacement batteries. Had I known that, the camera would have remained on the shelves!

Canon seems to think that the people who are a G1X II afford, even for the accessories have enough money. But somewhere it's over! Either I wait until there perhaps are replacement for third party manufacturers or I waive a second battery.
