I bought this card because I was horrified by how slowly my hard drive (a USB 3.0 dock) has put forever to be formatted (formatting depth which indirectly allows to check quickly, well not fast at all with USB 2.0, the segments will hold out for later, when the HDD is new)
In a write speed of 30 MB / s USB 2.0 I switched to 70 MB / s with this card. A significant speed increase for transfers of large data or formatting in depth.
The installation of the card is easy as there are molex adapters and SATA taken as free in his turn. Two screws bonus! ^^
However I had to restart several times that the driver installation failed, may be due to my firewall that was reluctant to accept the first attempt.
The ports are a little hard to insert, (eg because it is new) must not use excessive force and go sensitively.
A great price. To see in the duration for reliability.
