The guide does not lie: it is complete! It provides superb ductus (the more elegant style than "100 alphabets" David Harris), and excellent advice to start correctly. This book is a great introductory tool. It provides models of sublime alphabets, offers variants, each letter explains, and adds other things. It follows a historical progression, allowing to learn the history of calligraphy while seeking interesting lettering. However: it is regrettable that for all related activities to calligraphy (geometric constructions, for example), the guide is too compact or allusive. It is an exemplary book that deserves a second edition, revised and expanded.
