I have to say "The Testament of Sherlock Holmes" is my first game in this series, but I'm in the Point & Click area no novice. I think the game has everything that is important in a game of this genre, beautifully crafted scenarios, tricky riddles and great written characters. The riddle difficulty is well balanced, sometimes there are really tricky riddles, sometimes they are a little easier to solve, but it is never boring or frustrating. In addition, the puzzles are logical in itself, there are never solutions provided where you as a player the feeling that they were totally has "far-fetched". History has pleased me very well so far (I'm still not through), sometimes it assumes unexpected turns and I'm very excited about the end x) What I find very interesting is the possibility of three different perspectives, in which one can contest the play. Something I did not know before and feel this is useful innovation. In my opinion, "The Testament of Sherlock Holmes" a really nice game that does not need to hide behind other titles :)
