I had already read the TCPL translated into French, but reading the D & E in VO is a great surpise. The style of Bjarne is very pleasant and exciting story. First he tells us his personal experience and what led him to create the powerful tool called C ++. Then he takes us in the evolutionary process, with inputs and crucial decisions. All this happens in the friendly atmosphere of the Bell Lab and the book is full of anecdotes. The second part of the book put in scene the already mature C ++ and the most recent contributions, justification to support it.
