Rise and Ride (Audio CD)

Customer Review

The wave of retro 80`er metal movement still has no end and continue spriesen more and more German bands out of the ground and make this the Swedes powerful competitors. Stallion, which in 2013 their successful EP "Mounting the world" published, have now thrown more recently their debut album on the market. The rulers do not only shine with their spandex-rivet and Patronengeürteloutfit, but also with their 80`er Heavy Metal soaked sound. Musically somewhere between Accept, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Omen. What I particularly like about the band the lead singer, which is not the organ nauseum drives in the highest octave as with so many other retro bands that you soon their ears must, but has a certain recognition value and is similar to the voice of Lizzy Borden. Who so bands like Enforcer and Skull Fist from singing her be nervous, should at Stallion listen absolutely times.
Playing tips: "Rise and Ride", "canadian Steele" (already on said EP included) and "Wooden Horse". The album still sounds as a unified whole and should be tried by any 80`er metallers times.
