The Headphone Bass Amp

of the Vox Amplug for Bass I'm pretty excited. He absolutely does the job and is ideal to take anywhere to practice with quite ordinary sound his basslines.
The build quality is solid and the design classic.

The Amplug has 3 settings "standby" = off, "on" and "fx".
"On" is self-explanatory. "Fx" then tries unnecessarily somehow distorting or overdriving the really good clear sound.

To further fine-tuning, there are 3 knobs.
"Gain", "Tone" and "Volume" function the same as almost every amp, ranging completely out of order any bass sound and solid - if you want to really loud - to strengthen or even to tune a bit.

I have tested the Amplug with MusicMan basses and Warwick.

Conclusion:
I find the solution that Vox is offering pretty good in practice.
Even better - because Environmentally friendly - would be a built-in battery and a lower price. Then there is of me a star more.
