After Wake The Sleeper (2008) and Into The Wild (2011) now appears the 24th studio album in a relatively short period of time with outsiders.
3 years ago I was already impressed by ITW and now put Uriah Heep fulminate on as if nothing happened.
The opposite is the case Trevor Bolder died last year, and thus the Heep bassist since 1976 (years with nearly 3 interruption 1980 1983).
This sad event Heep lost after Lee Kerslake's (voluntary or health-related) resignation in 2007 now another mainstay of successful Seventies occupations.
But Uriah Heep Uriah Heep would not, if they did not surprise her fan base to fatalities in this case precisely with outsiders.
As with the previous albums, the producer is a real stroke of luck even if this album Mike Paxman. His (Heep) productions are characterized by a warm, rich, transparent and earthy powerful sound - perfect for Uriah Heep.
A What Kind of God or Trail Of Diamonds is time not there, but ....
11 tracks with upper genius guitar riffs, happiness hormones harmonies and choruses,
Bernie Shaw in no longer than Bidder top form - for 28 years the Uriah Heep voice !!!
With Davey Rimmer at Bass Heep have a worthy successor Trevor Bolder found that leaves a respectable impression on this CD.
After 4 auditory passages are now also my favorite tracks that:
One Minute, The Law, Rock The Foundation, Can not Take That Away, Jessie and Say Goodbye, the album ended terrific I could very well imagine as a live final ... (if not for Lady in Black would).
The opener Speed of Sound and the title track The Outsider need behind the aforementioned tracks, of course not have to hide.
Real hangover I can not make to outsiders.
Uriah Heep have managed again to deliver Despite all the difficulties, a strong album.
Perhaps would be an additional piano here or aktu tables guitar there's been a little icing on the cake, but here I naturally moan at a high level.
During the Whitsun weekend Mick Box is 67 !!!
He and his four bandmates have my utmost respect. Hats off !!!
I'm looking forward to the tour in November / December and am curious what tracks make it into the Live Set.
The Heep ship is on course!
