Anyone (like me) like himself and often screwed to the PC, you need a case that leaves a lot of leeway. No - I do not mean endless bays for hard disk drives (what I consider quite sinnfrei feel), but the possibility of quickly and easily gain access to all major components.
The case followed a not unusual in the server area concept - the separation of power supply and drives from the actual electronics. For this, the power supply very comfortable (!!) is housed together with the drives in the lower floor. First big plus - the cooling of these components is therefore separately and does not disturb the rest.
On the first floor (and thus accessible perfect) are motherboard and Co. placed. Perfect in the air stream lying, so the extremely low temperatures can be reached.
The workmanship is very good - no sharp edges or metal wabbeliges disturb the impression. All components work very well thought out.
For me, this part is a real revelation.
Criticisms?
Actually, no. Except of course the concept of compromise must be made accordingly by design. For me, however, the practical aspect is paramount and I can only awarded maximum points. If you check it on the market, which some housing costs so, one might almost consider the HAF XB as a bargain. The value is definitely higher than that of 99% of the remaining housing.
