This book is the best novel I read of Peter Curling; conducted through a futuristic epic (exile to another planet), this is a human adventure that unfolds before our eyes, whose analysis is oh transposed to our societies. Here, no monsters or extravagant long list of technical-futuristic details, nothing but women and men caught up in an adventure that they still do not know the ins and outs, as the characters which collide, that relations human and social that are at stake.
Abzalon is one of the novels that make us regret having already turned the last page ... luckily there was subsequently Orchéron.
