I was attracted by the use of the integrated graphics of 2500K in combination with a Z68 chipset.
Since I am not a "gamer" I thought that the integrated graphics performance but would be sufficient.
With this assumption, I was right!
With so much graphics performance I did not expect!
That the i5-2500K processor in a super value for money is to me was already clear.
The normal processing power (without graphics usage) is enormous.
In Windows Performance Index I have the following values:
Processor: 7.5
Memory: 7.8
Graphics: 6.3
Graphics (games): 6.3
Primary hard disk: 7.9
As I said, I use only the integrated graphics of the i5!
6.3 in both graphics parameters is very good when you consider that my previously used MSI GeForce NX9800GT graphics card here respectively 6.8 and the ATI Radeon X1950Pro achieved in the computer my son each 6.0.
As normal, sophisticated user who does not large 3D games, the graphics performance of the i5-2500K is absolutely sufficient, thus saving you a separate graphics card.
I would like to mention the truly quiet boxing fan, who, in contrast to my previously used AMD Phenom box fan is barely audible.
Conclusion:
The i5-2500K is absolutely perfect from the price / performance ratio.
Had I known all this earlier, I would have bought it earlier.
Absolute recommendation!
