Supplied are:
- A color-matched surface-mounted box (hab 'I do not use)
- A two-part cap plus dust protection covers, labeling field and cover plates
- Standard metal frame for flush-mounted boxes, which has two seats for the Keystone modules
- 2x RJ45 Keystone module
- Manual color images (A4 paper)
Overall, the whole thing looks like the picture that the seller has set, just not quite as white, the color is slightly more beige.
The installation itself is easy if you have good eyes. It makes use of the insulation of the Cat cable from 4cm, fold the screen back over the cable, free cable pairs of their film and puts them through the receiving part from plastic. On the recording, both the 586A (EUR) and the 568B (US) is displayed assignment. What you take is not matter as long as you used on both ends of the same cable. ;-) Now sets (stuck) to the wires into the correct slots and cut the protruding ends (make carefully, I had left the too long and then have some veins the ground shield of the module touches => short-circuit). Now it works on the actual module and sets the spigot with a cable (torsion by Plasiknase). Now sent compress and close the module (you need some force). The recording expresses the cable by the insulation-displacement contacts (as it were replaced so that the LSA tool). Now just insert a metal piece for strain relief and with a cable tie (!) Back up, and more.
Overall, the Keystone modules make a high-quality impression, are fully shielded, but also quite long. I doubt that this good in a 40mm deep flush-mounted box passen.Ich had built as a precaution already 60mm deep flush-mounted boxes, but due to the rigidity of the Cat patch cable and the relatively long but keystone modules used it was still a cruelty that I had imagined slight.
I tested then with 1 Gbit switch and two laptops. Everything OK.
+ Good free processing and screening
+ Instructions
+ For AP and UP suitable
+ Full, no additional accessories required (except dowels in surface mounting)
+ No special tools needed
May be ~ have a little more "white"
~ Keystone modules have their cable outlet behind and are relatively long, therefore relatively high installation depth
My advice: If you're like me so stupid and short circuit fabricated, you should put a few small replacement cable tie wide ...
Conclusion: This box I would buy again.
