4.5 stars is me this album value ... that makes then rounded 5 ... laughter! Half a point deduction, because even a small portion slightly nervously played songs are heard. Songs have the less recognizable and easily go down to the plate. Otherwise (already with the opener "Hell Awaits") a good portion of the hefty Mucke going. I find the old stuff of "Slayer" timeless, because in the light of all (in the last 30 years) production could have been released this album yesterday and it would make no difference. Slayer musical can better express than other bands aggression. They can very well suited. Your full sound skin literally on the Twelve. Since some comes together, the charismatic voice of "Tom Araya" the first-class drumming of "Dave Lombardo" and of course the (painfully) slow to super fast (aggressive) guitar combo: "King / Hannemann". Speaking of guitar playing! King and Hannemann can use their instruments like an acoustic instrument of torture. Horny disc at the right time (1985), from the right musicians for the right audience.
