Making Mirrors - A fine, small, spherical introduction of the album. Dreamy and well.
Easy Way Out - Easy listening rock the orderly has momentum, with a cool melody and catchy guitar samples.
Somebody That I Used to Know - Playful and lively electric elements to a resting in itself vocals during the verses. The chorus's done then cool down to business and strong one is reminded of Police. The female vote against (by Kimbra) in the 2nd verse fits perfectly with the song. Sound and melody seem so incredibly light and beautiful as the title was just so off the cuff. Incredibly horny and one of the best titles of recent years.
Eyes Wide Open - A fairly brisk electro-pop song of almost pure and spotless appears a little. Good danceable and beautiful to hear.
Smoke and Mirrors - electronics paired with Blue ancient sounds. At first glance, a bit slow and cumbersome, but on closer listening is a real treasure. Many fine sound gimmicks and a captivating melody no longer be the inclined listener going. Impressive many instruments and sounds have been incorporated here.
I feel better - It's disco time. Locker from the stool on here to the point. Rousing and instantly familiar, somehow cool and beautiful.
In your light - similarly compelling as the frontispiece. But here again vibrate more electrical items with superficial. The sound is a loose mixture of guitar, electric and wind sounds. Melody and sound together make the perfect feel-good titles. Fresh, lively and perfect for next summer.
State of the art - Beautiful dreamy electro song, in which even the singer's voice was distorted by the computer. The sound is decided to smallest at the details, ranging from organ sounds abundantly Elektronikgeschepper to dramatic string samples. Just awesome.
Do not worry, we'll be watching you - a little dark and blurred sounds of this title. The song is heard somewhere in the background and occurs only apparent during the chorus. The sound floats between romance and drama. Yet this book is another highlight of the album.
Giving me a chance - and perhaps a little trance Chillig the music sounds here. In addition there is a soft, supple singer voice. As a revival of the 1990s.
Save me - Monotonous and demanding pounding drives the music to the singer. And at some point the title seems downright to blossom (chorus), the whole game then repeats again and ends in a rather confused strumming. But kind of strange to me paraphrased worth listening and beautiful.
Bronte - The drum sound is reminiscent of Indian music from relevant Western and drives quietly and dreamily to himself. Melody and vocals run similarly relaxed and so the album sounds worthy and calm.
At some points I was somewhat surprised at the sudden end of individual songs, which can not always sound easy and smooth transitions between tracks. But that seems to belong to the concept of the album and does not interfere with more after a few runs. It is also striking that similar sounding titles are always arranged in immediate succession, almost as if Gotye which process different styles and influences in an ordered sequence. But these are at best minimal criticisms of an album that brings us to the end of the year once again a real highlight.
