I prefer water heater, which can be operated with one hand. Say, I want to open the lid, without having to use the second hand. That does not work quite as well when Tefal. Here I must first open the lid, then I can fill the pot. This is because that in the cover is a sliding mechanism, with which one achieves the lock. So release the lock in a standing position, then lift the pot. The kettle has incidentally an amazingly low weight.
Another minor complaint: the kettle holds 1.5 liters. For my needs, a higher volume would be desirable. Normally the will but suffice.
Very good I like the large window on the front (or the side that sees the user when he holds the handle with his hand that goes to the left and right hands, as two of the viewing window are available). It is not only a stale gap, but a large opening. Visually this is super! This opening has a mark especially individual for a cup. This helps save energy!
Compared to my previous kettle (Siemens Exclusive Edition) turns out that both kettle are exactly the same speed with the same amount of water.
Only the power button do not like me, because it is at the lower end below the handle. As you come happy times accidentally ran and then turn on the kettle, without meaning to. Although he has an idle protection, but I prefer the switch above the handle for easy access to it and turns still really only targeted one.
The smell of a new synthetic material which is quickly dissipated after I had the kettle once rinsed and once boiled water and poured away. To clean it, thanks to its shape also very easy. The Kalksieb the spout can be achieved by lifting up and pulling off easily and just as easy to use again. Since the piecework is the Siemens issue more complicated. I myself use filtered water, because then nothing calcified so quickly.
Overall, I like the kettle, but prefer my criticisms from a star and thus forgive four star.
