I ordered this book it a year ago when I knew it was going to be adapted into a movie but I struggled the start, he stayed a long time on my nightstand without my key and then I decided to put myself and frankly, it was not bad. I read it quickly, the story and writing are fluid, and each page is turned we want to know what happens next, what will happen to Thomas and all blocards.

It is by no means a male version of Hunger Games and Divergent, far from it. The dystopian side can put them in one basket, but the stories are different. In HG was that Katniss has to survive the game and decides to rebel in Divergent, Tris must choose his faction to 16 while it is divergent (mixture of 5 factions) and is therefore perceived as a threat to the government . Here in this T1, we are left with Thomas, 16, who has no memory of her past life except his name, he must live with the other boys and it is not always easy. No one knows why they were locked. Then all senchaƮne with the arrival of a daughter, and they must at all costs make out of the maze.

The idea itself is original and we feel compassion for the characters to the son of the pages. I'm currently reading T2 Scorched Earth (I'm in Chapter 18) and it looks pretty good. I can not wait to see the film and of course, to finish T2, T3 and the prequel.
