Quick start guide for all those who are not experienced construction workers or even home electronics.
- The batteries can be used with upward pointing contacts in any position, as the negative pole always strikes the central contact streaks of light and the positive terminal on one of the two outer strips.
- The lamp can be operated with one or two batteries. When using two batteries, the light flashes for longer but not bright.
- The lamp can be turned in any position.
- The lamp can be either hung on the upper metal bracket or fasten with the mounting bracket on freely accessible profiles with dimensions of about 5.5 cm x 5.5 cm.
- There is no protection against theft. Since construction lamp are popular objects for opportunist thieves, at least recommended that the use of each 2 locknuts which can be removed with tools.
- There is no IP rating specification (dust and water protection). The Note "completely all weatherproof" is doubtful, because neither the lamp body still have the battery case rubber seals. Spray protection from below (eg puddle through which a car drives) can not be guaranteed. However, the housing dimensions are likely to avoid worse.
- The LED sits on a stalk in the middle lamp. In complete darkness, the light is good to see at a flashing rate of 60 / s. At dusk or daylight (upon termination of the dusk control) the brightness is somewhat flabby.
- The sensor twilight automatic seat at the bottom of the black lamp base approximately at the level of the lower edge of the luminous body. After opening the filament (5 x M screws and nuts) can be the automatic function cripple with opaque tape. However, this has only limited benefits (see above), unless you want to use the light in the interior as attractive disco lamp :)
And now the mysterious lights key:
- The key has 4 main functions.
1. The hexagon is used to remove the locking screw of the battery compartment.
2. The two pins on the longest arm of the key used to pry the battery housing base. Insert the key insert battery case and black soil in about 45 degree angle between yellow and press the bottom of the yellow housing outwards and remove the black soil. If the floor is with inserted batteries under tension, you can also press inwards.
3. The wire pen with curved end is used to turn on the light and move between flashing and continuous light function. By turning the wire pen at the curved end of the key middle and slide outwards (do not remove, otherwise you eventually lose it). - The battery case has at the front above the "Schake" logo two holes. Behind the left hole is the on / off switch. Behind the right hole is the switch for the functions flashing / steady light. Pen introduce gently, because the switches do not like violent operation.
4. The eyelet is used to hang the key or attachment to a cord / key ring, etc. If you like laid his tools untraceable, the functions 1st-3rd improvise with matching allen key and suitable nails.
Have fun with the site lamp!
