When trying to transfer just over 60 GB on the hard disk to the following results showed:
- The plate is about hand-hot, but not really hot during operation
- The hard drive operates almost silently
- The hard disk can .... .... .... up Zeeeeiiiit
Less than 20 MB per second write speed is OK, if you even want to play a few dates now and then.
If, like me, want to play a larger amount of data for a computer balance, you have to bring time.
For a little over 60GB hard drive has taken just over an hour.
My external USB 3.0 hard drive creates in about 17 minutes.
So if a small, handy solution for the transport of data searches and in a hurry did not with larger amounts of data can be accessed.
Anyone wishing to use the hard drive as an external backup disk, should perhaps look better after another, faster solution.
Because the product in its overall properties in line with expectations and the value for money is OK, full 5 stars.
I'll look around anyway for an alternative to backing up large volumes of data
