Marina Grey published in 1976 under the title "Mimizan-sur-War" notes that his mother had written to Xenia Mimizan during the war. It should be noted that Xenia was the wife Denikin Anton Ivanovich Denikin General, last ruler of Russia and middle figure "White Russian" and she was fluent in five languages, which enabled him to capture and integrate information in relation reliable and understand the course of the war. In comparison, the reactions of Mimizanais recorded on the fly by Xenia Denikin, we now seem quite comical in their naivete and better perceive how an authoritarian regime that has the monopoly of information resources can handle "his" public opinion. Interestingly, the Osttruppen (Russian supplementary troops fighting under the German uniform) posted on the Atlantic Wall at the very end of the German occupation in the region are discussed toward the end of the book.
