I do not expect to emerge from my reading so transformed! As Sophie, the thirst for knowledge is becoming more pressing in the pages and apprehends end in sight soon. The plot that serves as a guideline to philosophy course is when her ingenious and proves to be the ultimate lesson that opens up new possibilities for our own reflections. We have the strange feeling that the author brings us enormously by putting within reach of the questions (not answers) existancielles but legitimate and going slowly pleasure in manipulating us from one end to the other of the novel ... However, personal refection of the player (in symbiosis after the first two lessons) are left free and even encouraged by the author. To me this book should be included among the works to be studied at the end of college or high school because in addition to its educational and fun side, it raises important issues that can be in the existence of an age or a quest of self is paramount. Real awakening to the world, this book is to rank among books like the little prince from St Exupéry or alchemist paulo Cohelo. Finally I appeal to parents or friends to bring this adventure to beings that matter to them because as for Sophie and as stated the author, this gift will last their whole life ...
