In fact, the first start-up and activation of the one-time free map material via TomTom Home proved difficult. Despite the promise that the first map update is completely free, wanted to sell the update to the software 70. However, after almost 2 hours of intensive studies of confusing software I finally discovered the free update.
Very positive to the TomTom Home software is the fact that you can load additional maps next mini-apps such as radar warnings to the Navi, which are constantly updated and improved by the users themselves.
After this first "hurdle" everything went like clockwork. The Navi led us reliably in Vienna and surrounding areas around without detours or interruptions (as reported by other users). The GPS signal is readily available, the voice is pleasant, only some street names are mispronounced or incomprehensible, but you can not have everything now times ;-).
Conclusion: For the budget conscious one of the best navigation systems. The negative reviews on Amazon were largely unfounded, as always, before you judge about something, you should test yourself. I recommend this Navi will be thoroughly tested in good conscience.
