Features:
The BodycruZer fits comfortably in your hand, the orange on / off switch is easily accessible and is still not inadvertently operated. The large knob on the back, with which the carriage is operated on the razor sits (Gilette Fusion), also doing well. The various Einraststufen (trimming, trimming and shaving, shaving) are highlighted on the slide. However, one should well make sure that the shaver after use with shaving cream does not retract before cleaning, otherwise foam may reach the mechanism. One danger, however, at no time, the electrical system is secure and waterproof stowed.
The charger does not need any contacts, it is charged by induction. A drawback here is that you have to determine the charging time by feel or with the clock - unfortunately replaced the orange charging light color NOT when the unit is full. From a high-grade brown-product I would have expected that. The charging time is 12h to instructions, the operating time with full battery charge for about 50 minutes.
Handling:
The device can easily be used in the shower and then cleaned with water. For instructions, when to trim with or against the grain and how to use the various essays, is attached. There are included the following essays: "long" (8mm), "medium" (3mm) and "sensitive" (2mm, for the genital area). The essays should be used only without foam, best equal to all in the dry because wet hair body known application to the skin. The trimmer itself is working fine and just needs to be off and oiled with light machine oil. Unfortunately, the trimmer is not replaced - for me half a point deduction, because at some point each shearing work is dull - usually before the device the battery is over - and then at least with the trimmer Feierabend.
The shaver has a connection for Gilette Fusion blades. This is handy because that's my opinion, the best currently on the razor blade market. There are 5-blade razor with a trimming blade on the back. The Fusion blades with a price of just under 3 euros but also an extremely expensive business. I arrived at the normal wet shaving of the face also well with the Mach3 blades that cost significantly less. Now that I have the BodycruZer, but I have changed my entire shaving system on Fusion blades - then it is worth, a large pack blades to buy, so that the unit price decreases in the vicinity of 2 euros. The high price is blades of my second half-point deduction.
It shaves extremely comfortable with the device, just the "Combination mode" - shaving cream, apply and work with trimmer and shaver same time - works great. But the razor alone does a good job and is by the huge grip, the device offers, better in the hand than any normal razor.
The BodycruZer thus reflected significantly better than the Philips Bodygroom, I had some time ago. There you could change the shaving heads, but the manufacturer had not yet been recognized at the time that it is better trimmer and wet shaver combined as a trimmer to grow at a dry shaver side. By BodycruZer Braun and Gillette in my opinion have combined the best of both worlds. The manufacturer recommends for reasons of hygiene, apply the BodycruZer either on the face or only on the body, but not mixed. So it is both '
Conclusion: In my opinion the BodycruZer suitable for any hair removal task - reduce or completely, a large area or only small areas' the currently best product on the market, although there is still room for improvement when it comes to change and expensive Trimmer shaver blades. Strong buy recommendation.
