Randall Munroe had long roboticists at NASA and known worldwide through its Internet cult comic XKCD (which is also available as a book). For some time he answered a hypothetical question per week with the help of science (especially physics). But these are not known, already provided 100x "Rangar Yoshgewar issues", but questions like: How much energy can generate Yoda (from Star Wars)? What would happen if you throw a baseball with almost the speed of light? How does an airplane fly on the various planets? Can you jump out of an airplane and its case by inflating helium balloons (provided you have enough bottles) brake? Could you build with Kalashnikovs a jetpack? The questions are abstruse and Munroe answered with an ironic twinkle in his eye - but quite scientifically. Often he also describes the response generation process there - interesting and entertaining! So must be a science book! Even those who know the original (and the website is still online) will find many new questions and answers. Some comics and jokes are revised, so far it is worth buying. If you want to criticize anything at all, then the font size is actually a bit small (especially in the footnotes), but does not abort the pleasure!
