The price of eternity

Here, the book takes the party to start slowly, very little action on the start we develop the characters of advantages; Tidus is darker, more mature strand. The characters have evolved over the two years sépareny the disappearance of Tidus and his return to Spira. Without going into the complex psychology, Nojima yet know how to control their avatars and are found pleasure in dialogues quite correct. I liked this more mature appearance, which is supported by the narrative alternating between Yuna / Tidus duo and Kush / Valm duo that shares the same role: Summoner and Guardian. Here same story, the couple finds himself embroiled in a religious war, stashed on an island where traitors perforate while the ranks of the attacks and killings increasingly populate the beach. Meanwhile, Valm, which takes the protection Invokeur very seriously, began to envy a man lurking too close to his sweetheart, questioning its cause, its willingness to carry out its mission.

Heart of the stories do not interest you? It falls ill, it is a recurrence in Final Fantasy (Cecil / Rosa / Kain, Lock / Celes, Clad / Tifa / Aeris / Zack, Squall / Rinoa Zidane / Dagga, Vaan / Penello), it is not surprising but we certainly expected more action and there, I can understand.
The novel is short, barely 270 pages and the action is slow to arrive, here we are indeed in the development of the characters. It may be awkward for some but I found it extremely effective to the point when minquiéter draw Tidus, when before his marmoset behavioral Yuna seems to turn his back. Sin is it back? Tidus is there a wandering? Who are Valm / Kush, that hides the Church of Yevon? Who is the traitor?

The answers in any further ... So announced that the book is left without that I see coming. Note that this novel shares similarities with the audio track included in the remaster edition compilation FF-X / 2. A good story easy to follow and enjoyable but nothing revolutionary.
The book is almost act as a "command" to ride the wave of compilation as references to this game are unnecessarily to dress up the story. How do you say again? Fanservice? Totally, it is a product for the fans, well made and which have a good time.
