B. The other song is an amorous complaint Trombocino 6 - Now that heaven and earth are silent (also text of Petrarch): that which hurts me is always before me, and only when I think about it, I find Peace ', while' 2 - My lady is so much more beautiful 'd A. Coppini rents being liked: my greatest joy is to contemplate that angelic face.
'8 - The great desire of L. Compere is a call of a lover: What I held vostre amy silk'. But in '4 Do not knock on the door' (Anon.) A tryst is out of question, because my husband is here now.

But in '22 Jai sold now hope Mr. Cara, bad luck (each market presents risks in this business and I have been unlucky) is a good lesson for the future: If jobtiens another contract, I would not be counting on hope.
Music
The ubiquitous feature in the music on this CD is the purity of the melodic lines.
For instrumental pieces, dances JA Dalza '15 - Pavana alla Venetiana 16 - Saltarello, 17 - Piva ', the '19 - Petit Vriens (Little things)' (Anon.), The '13 - Gagliarda the traditora ' (Anon.), the '10 - (Anon.) Said the burguygnon and 1- Saltarello el francosin 'are beautiful, graceful and joyous rhythmic melodies. The summit, however, is the play '21 - Hor ories a chanzon (Now listen to a song) (Anon.) By its remarkable creation dune enchanting atmosphere. The '7 Loves Jean Japart is a melancholy complaint, which contrasts completely with 5 - Helas daughter Guillemin' (Anon.) Of a bright and cheerful rhythm, while the '12 - Pavana el bisson has a more solemn intonation mourning.
The religious songs are distinguished by the nobility of their melodies and their discrete contrapuntal voices / instruments; the '14 - If ever in wonder '(Anon.) has a focus of admiration and '18 - Beautiful Lady B. Trombocino more like a prayer.
The '6 - Now that heaven and earth are silent B. Trombocino and 9 - I fay more A. Busnois are slow amorous complaints.
More happy are the '4 Do not knock on the door' with his prankster spirit, '2 - My lady is so much more beautiful' (Anon.) DA. Coppini which emanates a radiant happiness, '22 - I just sold hope 'Mr. Cara, and surprisingly also '11 - Latura You dA. Bruhier although my father if my bastue '.
But the absolute top is the '8 - The desire to grant L. Compere with its wonderful melody and its combination of brilliant counterpoint between voice and instruments and between the instruments themselves.
The music is sublimely sung and interpreted by the Concordia Group.
This CD should not miss in the library of all Renaissance music lovers.
A big regret: translation of texts in English only.
NB In The Mediaeval Society of America - Publication No. 42, Latura words and you nennin dea in the song 11 dA. Bruhier nayant are considered meaningless. But they may have: Latura = fem. Latin laturus (= carrying working - the sweat of his brow) nennin (= the Walloon for 'no'), dea (= Goddess). The meaning could be: you are a human being (you are forced to work) and not a goddess.
