The product is fully functional but the silicone is badly cast, thus the LEDs are sometimes bare and the tape is not waterproof.
Also note that silicone is not on the top of the ribbon. The following therefore is not waterproof. The 4 copper contacts (R, G, B, 12V) every 5 cm are exposed. Only double-sided tape sealing ensures imitation.

I bought 3 ribbons that have the same problem so it's not an isolated problem.
