I had my order together this side cutter on a friend at Amazon to cut wires of 0.16 mm Kanthal to 0.30mm for my self-winding evaporator (eZigarette). Also in the field of Modelbau Knipex should perform his duties. Unfortunately, that part of the usual Knipex quality does not do justice. The cheeks do not run parallel but which greatly affects the cutting quality to each other! A side cutter from a different manufacturer from the local hardware store, for less money the aforementioned side cutter, know of a higher quality of workmanship. It can be used thin wires cut much better. Just FYI, I call various pliers and wire cutters manufacturer Knipex my own and in the past I was always happy with it. But if I get equivalent or better tools for less money, I will evade future to other manufacturers. Very, very bad!
