I do not recommend, perhaps dedicated sound cards was viable at the time of Realtek AC'97 on motherboards, but now the Realtek HD Audio chipsets widely enough to produce an excellent sound. With this sound card you should not perceive any difference if it is not in the price of your config and boot time slow after installing drivers (I said that I have a high-end headphone Seinheiser Game and PC-360 I can not hear the difference when the connected jack on the realtek and the sound card, at least not perceptible to the ear). Prefer to invest elsewhere in your config, a larger screen, a graphics card more upscale, a SSD with more capacity for example, or save your money.
I noticed that fewer and fewer pre-assembled high-end configurations include a sound card.
