This book is THE reference for learning the Icelandic language. It is very well written, exciting from beginning to end, and exercises at the end of the finely designed book. Nevertheless, I can only recommend to start with the book "Icelandic talking" Solveig Bjarnasson to know the pronunciation elements (because this language is full of pitfalls in this area and that the manual does not have CD) and have a preview of the didactic language daily. It will be a good introduction to a complex language, and avoid giving up while the effort is worth the trip !!! But if one really wants to complete his learning, this book is essential because ultra-complete. It is unfortunately not planned to republish, which is a real problem for those who want to learn this fascinating language that does not leave when it was discovered. I can only recommend not to let him pass when a copy is in hand.
