This new charger model knows not only recharge conventional Ni-Cd and Ni-MH (AA, AAA and C, ie R6, R03 and R14), but also the all-new Li-Ion batteries (mainly used on certain types of flashlights). Contrary to the description of the product, 4 slots are completely independent. The very informative display (voltage, capacity, charge current) is backlit. For each location, the LCD indicates whether the battery is charging or discharging, the amount of energy and tension. The interface consists of a single button, which lets you select the mode (long press) and the load current (short press). No manual supplied separately which is printed on the packaging (in English). Unlike other quality chargers that provide load currents ranging from 0.2A to 1.5A, the only choice is proposed 0.5A or 1A - which I think is very appropriate notice: 0.2A it was a good option some ten years, but with the progress made on batteries, doubling the current is not likely to affect their longevity. The charger comes with an international power adapter (with a French plug) and an adapter for cigarette lighter. At the end of the charging or discharging of each battery, a triple beep will sound very loud.
Most: + Compatible with the type of batteries C / LR14, which is quite rare + Independent Locations + Automatic recognition of the type of battery + Works like a beast autoloader, but offers an 'expert' mode for advanced users + Compatible with the new rechargeable Li-Ion 3.7V
A very well designed product, innovative, easy to use, quality. Ni-MH batteries are expensive, this charger is a good investment to ensure their longevity. I recommend it.
