Actually, the films of Jörg Buttgereit are no horror movies. There are abysmal masterpieces on taboo subjects such as necrophilia, suicide or serial killer. Located between art and trash, splatter and romance are unparalleled cinematic experience for the one who is able to engage it. The German justice it could obviously not what culminated in the seizure of "necromancy 2" for the glorification of violence. Absurdly, ("The Death King" apart) are in England all Buttgereit movies banned. Yet is the only book on Buttgereit from England. David Kerekes, meritorious Archivist of Underground and aloof from cultural and editor of the "Head Press" magazine, here delivers against a very solid and entertaining book written. Analyses of all movies, anecdotes of filming, censorship problems Kerekes' experiences in Berlin during the filming of "Schrammm", many photos, the charming Monika M., Florian Koerner von Gustorff (drummer of "mother"), Franz Rodenkirchen, Daktari Lorenz and and ... and an incredible pool for the fan! Since I love Buttgereit movies, this book has me very excited. Incidentally, also interesting for those who like to imagine any perverts behind the creators of such controversial films - Dream on. In any case, thoroughly recommended!
