Important for me is the expandability of memory via microSD, a removable battery, a high quality built housing, a ordenltiche battery life and a round daily performance without any juddering could.
Actually, I had Samsung always classified as 'Plastikbomber', but after my girlfriend me put her S4 in the hand was clear: While Samsung used plastic and no creaking knobs while S4 unfortunately in super ugly glossy finish, but the workmanship is top (Spalltmaße, etc.).
And so it was that my Razr i was taken back due to its shortcomings Amazon and dropped considerably due to the recently published the S4 S5 in the price. Personally I find it absolutely useless to give 800 for a phone. However, it was my almost 70 Aupreis opposite of Motorola's (I had bought it for exactly 300.) Value.
Why now the S4 Active and not the S4?
Now that the devices are equivalent to or less I had the choice, here is my decision:
I like the design of the Active better (Gummibumper top and bottom screws on the corners, physical buttons). In addition, appeals to me the water resistance of the Active. Although I find the whole reared totally exaggerated, I would take the unit with swimming etc., but I think it's good to know that my phone is not the first major rainstorm in which I stand (as happened with an iPod), or at a tipping water glass gets broken.
Only the better camera at S4 (16 instead of 8MP) I miss a little. Of course, the pictures not bad, on the contrary, the photos are in Gegegensatz to many other mobile notches better than me.
However, one notices particularly the bigger picture (zoom in) but a marked difference in the sharpness.
So, now to the conclusion:
Personally, I find the S4 Active super and now come already almost two months super with him. The features of Samsung UI I find also good (quick settings in the notification bar, etc.), most of the features like Smart Stay, etc. However, I have turned off because they simply do not work reliably, or for me are important and would therefore shorten only the battery life.
Can I recommend the mobile phone to all who like the S4, but the design will find not so great,
all who like the S5, you find you are too expensive (all functions which the S5 are either unnecessary [Pulse Monitors, who needs that ?!] or even at the S4's included.)
and all who want to keep up with current 360 A top smart phone with super performance in all areas in his hands.
