This has at least not 100% convinced me. According to the description of the BRAUN epilator to remove hair from 0.5 mm length. I can not confirm that, unfortunately. In sunlight were a lot of hair, which have a length of about 1 mm, can be clearly seen. But even after I let slip a few times over the epilator, the hairs were still to be seen. I find it quite annoying because of the promise of BRAUN. If it is stated that hairs are removed from a length of 0.5 mm, then I expect the same. This, unfortunately, gets the Braun Silk-épil 9 with me a thick point deduction and reached only three stars.
Many other middle Ster had not have this problem, so I wonder if I did not maybe just caught a device that is not quite so right ?! Strangely, I also think the heat development of forceps while using the appliance.
After two weeks, I have dared to venture I times on my shoulders. I needed a day on which I once used no deodorant. The epilation at the armpits was really painful! There were even small wounds. Even two days after my armpits were not yet free from irritation.
A week later allowed the Braun Silk-épil 9 again on my shoulders. This time, however, he experienced a first: He went into the shower. I hoped by a gentler and thus more humane epilation of underarms. And indeed it did much hurt less. Even then I had no pain, like the first time - everything okay.
I hope I'll get used to it over time, because I think it could well be an alternative to shaving. That convinced me before
But bikini line? No thanks! I dare not try! Even the epilator facial hair I did not test in the face, because in my face are no disturbing hairs that need to be removed.
A shaver head or a hair trimmer is also included. Both, however, have me not quite so convinced. Both essays need multiple attempts until all hair has been removed or reduced. Of course, however, a trimmer is very handy when hair must be cut in order to then epilate. But that is an additional, I do not necessarily need to epilator for me.
The epilator is well in hand, is elegant, but can be with wet hands on wheel not optimally serve. With the wheel two stages can be set. As a beginner level 1 (gentle epilation) is recommended. But I am fast at level II (efficient epilation) passed. There is an LED light that can be seen to the depilated area illuminates good and little hair well above the wheel. What this could still improve: Sometimes you do not need the LED light or you need it sometimes, to look even know if the hairs are all gone. Actually I think the idea of epilation well. At the moment I still have visible and tangible stubble on her legs, I do not like. BRAUN promises that hair is removed from a length of 0.5 mm, which I can not confirm. Perhaps the trial period of 3 1/2 weeks is however too short to the Braun Silk-épil 9 full debug.
