Klaus Hoffmann, the singing actor, drama minstrel: "The man who wanted to fly" is wonderful, grab as Hoffmann's qualities in both fields into one another. Here Hoffmann "realistic dreamer", takes the listener with his first disillusioned protagonist Rafael Engelmann in a poetic world, including in the sophisticated inner life instead of hard elbows. Hoffmann's pictorial language and his role-play in the texts touch on, because everything unaufgesetzt, looks real. The interspersed between the texts of songs make the live CD still top class. Hoffmann lives of the songs, suffering, criticism, half the world takes up or muses, always with inimitable strong stage presence. Known songs are rearranged with synthesizer and piano, and can thus take notice. Special class: the haunting soundtrack of many texts by "keys Treichler" Hawo bleach.
