On his third album, "Are You Gonna Go My Way", which was published in 1993, Lenny Kravitz shows compared to the previous albums something gentle and soulful. The first title, after the album was named, which does not suggest however. It is certainly the most famous piece of this CD. A fast rhythm and blues track where the guitar sometimes a little reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix. Even with "Is There Any Love In Your Heart" can still be wonderful to shake a leg. But the rest of the pieces are all fairly quiet. "Believe" is a beautiful ballad, again shines as a songwriter in the Kravitz. "Heaven Help" and "Just Be A Woman" close to it. Volume turn up and enjoy. "Sugar" like the string and horn arrangements very well. Not to be forgotten is the acoustic ballad "Sister". In "Eleutheria" something comes to Reggae. This album like a second time after the hearing probably better than after the first time. Then it only really unfolds its effect. The CD might not quite enough to "Let Love Rule" and "Mama Said" approach, but it is in spite of everything an extremely successful and perhaps the finest album of Kravitz.
