1) Connectivity:
This speaker can be connected via Bluetooth or via the included 3.5mm AUX cable with an appropriate device. Playback via Bluetooth works without any problems after zBdas smartphone has recognized the speaker. The connection of the box with the phone is very stable, even through almost the entire apartment. In the traditional way can be combined with mobile devices or a computer, the mobile device also via the supplied AUX cable.
2) Ease of use:
All controls are mounted on the top of the box and self-explanatory. On the back of the USB mini port for charging the box, the terminal for the AUX cable or the headset as well as the on-off switch are then housed. I like the operating concept in this box very well. All buttons are clearly arranged in an oval placed at the top. And finally, there is a box with a separate control of volume and the skip function. When turned on, the control panel box inside is illuminated in blue. This makes the whole thing clearly and looks pretty cool.
3) Sound:
The box has an output power of 2 x 3 Watt and has for its size a surprisingly rich and voluminous sound. Even on full blast it is not blaring and a distortion I also could not tell. And full blast is already really loud. The bass is good, despite the naturally small soundboard. Sound settings, you can still make about the player of the mobile device.
4) Appearance / feel:
In appearance, the box is rather pleasant discreetly in all black. It is fairly easy weighing approximately 340g and makes a high impression. The outside is made of metal. On the underside there is an almost the entire floor covering rubber surface that ensures a secure, non-slip and reduced vibration.
5) Telephony:
This is an additional and very handy feature of the speakers that I really like and works fine. If you have connected the box via Bluetooth with your mobile phone, you can answer an incoming call on the box, even when the phone is in another room. His interlocutor is heard then the box. Where the micro is, I have not figured out, but I suppose it is placed under the perforated front panel. That would also explain why relatively must be in the pits during a call dense to be well understood. A redial function does not exist.
6) Battery:
Installed is a 1200mAh lithium-ion battery, the right long hold out depending on the selected volume, which is sufficient for my needs. Charging takes approximately 2-3 hours. For me it is an invaluable advantage that the box has a mini USB port for charging. As for me, the cell phone, the BlackBerry and the Kindle have the same connection, I need for all even a charger, just go an invaluable advantage.
7) Conclusion:
This is a successful small speaker, which focuses basically on the essentials: listening to music. Here in my opinion, was deliberately omitted extras like radio, TF card slot or redial function for the benefit of an optimized sound. The operating concept also like it very much. In addition, the box is very compact and lightweight and thus ideally suited for use on the go. The price-performance ratio, I feel, given the quality of workmanship and the sound as well above average. But then there's also 5 star and a buy recommendation from me.
