I am originally from the Rock / Alternative / Punk corner, but age does not protect against New Country ....;) The debut album is not known to me (because very difficult to obtain), from "Kerosene" I only know a few songs, but all of them are very good, but a week ago I bought at the same time the third album "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and "Revolution" the petite Texan. As previously mentioned does not fall into the classic country music Lamberts rail to too many influences to flow into the songs. The lady mags times rocking (ThatŽs the way the world goes round, Only Prettier etc), sometimes ballad (Making Plans, The House That Built Me, etc), and at times with Blue Notes (Somewhere Trouble donŽt go). For this purpose, hooks, all hear the first time mix stuck (White Liar) and no longer leave one so quickly. The comparison with Carrie Underwood is not quite understandable for me because Lambert than three-quarters of their songs wrote themselves, excellent plays guitar and has less pop in the sound. Compared with "Crazy Ex Girlfriend" to "Revolution" proposes better by more variety and style variations. Although the previous album also is damn strong and highly recommended a number of highlights hat.Für every fan of the New Country direction and best set equal to all Albums lady .... For me, currently the biggest female star in Nashville .... No Doubt !!!
