In 1980 when the album, the band had developed a powerful state. It was almost a cult of The Police formed on, which was for the band to be printed. To maintain this claim was it and in no time was "Zenyatta". It is for me the most contradictory Album: Platinum status and yet so unlike The Police - musically showered with honors and yet the content so combative! Many pieces suffer in my opinion, including, act playfully, unfinished and without concept, despite the insanity potential. Unfortunately, fans also use the bad pieces of Stewart and Andy. For me, "Zenyatta" an experiment - appears to the hits "Do not stand so close to me", "Driven to Tears" and "De Do Do Da" from again. Even "When the world is running down .." can still build on the class of the aforementioned titles, but then the band goes the line missing something. A flaw that reflects the Zerüttungen within the more and more dominated by Sting band. Only on "Ghost in the Machine" The Police will return to tried and true strength and consistently good songs.
Nevertheless - as Policefan you have to like the album: 4 stars.
