The tank for iPhone

I like going on the safe side and because it was important to me for my iPhone also to find a decent protection, which protects it from bumps and scratches and dust. This case encloses the iPhone almost complete and thus not only provides protection against knocks and scratches, but also against dust and splash water. Ports like the headphone or the USB / charging port or the mute switch are protected by rubber flaps these openings are sealed with whom. The speaker above is protected by a kind fleece against moisture and dust. On the back it has two small portholes with protective plates for the camera and the logo. The pushbuttons are transmitted cleanly through the rubber and can be operated well, despite that you have to this little harder pressures. The rubber coating feels pleasant and is not too much slip, as it is known by many other Solikonhüllen you hardly get out of his pants. Nevertheless, dust particles and lint remain like sticking to it even here also.

Really a top case but unfortunately even small weaknesses vorweißt this here now like to mention.

- Unfortunately, the plastic disc forms bubbles on the glass. When the display is on, you can see this not as well as when turned off, but one still looks easy. As an alternative there is the possibility of removing these plastic disc at the expense of tightness and easy to stick a protective film on the display. I even got used to at first times to the bubbles which is not so bad.

- The lower two small grille for speaker and microphone are unfortunately open, here it would also have been great if they had at least one stretched thin fine cloth or on top speakers, a fleece. However, one has the opportunity to pinch yourself what between sleeve and iPhone when it is also there to provide protection.

- The opening of the wide end of the USB cable fits perfectly, almost too perfect. It would have been nice if they had at least NEN millimeters more air to insert the plug. But that would be the most insignificant negative point that I wanted to have but nevertheless mentioned times.

- The hard shell has no real grip. More than two points on the shell, the sleeve is fixed to the iPhone and held in the cup. As mentioned here before in other reviews, it is still missing to secure support because these two points is not strong enough to pinch the shell. But here is a simple remedy. I heated the wing into the hard shell over a candle flame evenly until the rounding with a fluctuating movement. This I then pressed with the surface on the table and easily molded to the inside. If you do that in two wings, the shell now sits perfectly and securely inside.

Actually, this envelope would have earned 5 stars, but the thing with the screen, the two unprotected openings below and hardshell support you would have done better. Otherwise, I can really recommend the product highly, if one is looking for a very good protection for the iPhone.

It should be noted yet that do not fit all the plugs of other chargers through the opening. Have bought recently, the "power supply, travel charger for Apple iPhone 3G !! in black / charging cable 3 G Charger for the outlet", and had with eintäuschen notice that the plug is a little too big!
