Hello There,
I have all three focusing screens for the 6D.
The grid matte screen is of course suitable for the architectural photography, no question.
Even as a normal matte screen perfectly usable, because the grid lines are relatively weak to see and hardly noticed or interfere in the dark.

My favorite, however, is the EC-S
I got it today (Amazon delivery as always perfect) and used immediately.
The part is simply brilliant, IMHO.

Also to use a standard focusing screen.
Until panel 4 I feel no disadvantages. 5,6-he Lenses I have not and can not say anything.
The manual focus makes fun again.

Please do not forget to adjust the focusing screen model in the camera.
