Helloween are back with a good album. Sufficient speed and freshness are present in the songs and let hope that the future again heard the pumpkin heads. Just after a short intro (what the hell is this?) Go wrong with WE BURN, faster opener, the live safely for Pops is. STEEL TORMENTOR flips IRON MAIDEN like bulky in the ear canals. WAKE UP THE MONTAIN makes super multifaceted, after repeated listening the song even more fun. Following POWER sounds Pink Cream 69 on the other hand like (almost) catchy. But OK. With FOREVER AND ONE power ballad goes on; well, class midsection, guitars. BEFORE THE WAR again with Speed / pace / intro. Could easily fit on the keeper LPs / CDs. But no imitation! A MILLION TO ONE comes mystical therefore, slower rock song, creative midsection. ANYTHING MY MAMA DO NOT LIKE, PINK CREAM 69 sends his regards, but straight and well. But then again the pumpkin heads typically KINGS WILL BE KINGS, for me more of an average song. MISSION MOTHERLAND an epic 9 minutes in length sounds interesting and fresh again. Bulky guitars, Breaks, more of it. But some places sounds of singing a little shallow here; especially towards the end it gets used to. With IF I KNEW follows a rock ballad, quite well. With THE TIME OF THE OATH closes the album: it is allowed to tackle moderate midtempo again. Roland Grapow raging in the central part of the guitar. Easy doommässiger song. Overall, a great CD.
