The Titan's back

Hammerfall have managed to bring it a very good album on the market and to make us forget the very poor previous Chapter V. Striking at the very threshold rocking sound on Uptemponummern has been almost completely eliminated. The lyrics are very true again and the cover is in my opinion become rather ugly. But what matters is the music. For each track:

1. Threshold

The opener starts with a keyboard intro, then put the guitar on. Very good song, the chorus takes two to three runs, but then he sits firmly. 5/5

2. The Fire Burns Forever

I think a trueren title for a metal band does not exist. Very simple melody, very simple chorus, but catchy. 5/5

3. Rebel Inside

Song number three begins calmly but increases in a slow rock song, not a highlight, but also not a bad song. 4/5

4. Natural High

The single from the album shines with a great melody and a great chorus 5/5

5. Dark Wings, Dark Words

The first and only power ballad. Very thoughtful text. Good 5/5

6. Howlin With The pac

Very straighter rock song, no experiments, simple and well 5/5

7. Shadow Empire

Here we come to the first song of the album weaker. The chorus has got pretty weird and the whole melody does not seem to fit the song. Nevertheless, the song has what. 4/5

8. Carved in Stone

Here is the second really weak song. Begins with great long intro, but the chorus is really not good. Has quite a La-La-La Touch. 3/5

9. Reign Of The Hammer

Instrumental, short, crisp, good! 5/5

10. Genocide

A rather faster song. Good refrain. 5/5

11. Titan

My personal favorite. Probably the most bulky song on the CD, but in my eyes the best. Geiler Stampfrhytmus, horny choir. 5/5

All in all a successful CD. If the CD does not Hammerfall I had to complain about even less, but from one of the top bands in Europe, I expect a peferkte CD. Definitely worth a listen
