Reinhard Mey sings about love and death, of his family, his life. The songs are gentle, thoughtful, poetic, but also entertaining, funny, alive. I follow for many years his new releases, also know the old songs and am always happy about the many colorful ideas that Reinhard Mey gives us for years. The last tour was again full of emotions, ideas and Rueckschau. I attended his last concert in Berlin and really enjoyed that time he has also sung many old songs from the new songs, and in fact once again be "Above the Clouds" or "Annabell" or "Good night my friends". These songs as a recording of his live performance can be found on this CD, in my opinion, its live music is still slightly better than a studio recording, and among other things, gave us Reinhard Mey in this tour be "I love you" on French and then - my favorite song on this CD, his "As year ago and Day", sung in French, Dutch and German (!). The tour was a treat and the compilation of this CD with an excellent blend of old and new is, I think, also very well done. Even if you know the songs already: they are with Reinhard Mey more mature and deeper voice sung ("the clouds above", sung about 25 years ago compared to) and work through the live performance again different and new. A nice mix with radio, to dream, think and self-remembering.
