The 4 games on this disc are all legendary to their level.
The legend of Zelda (NES) is the first of this great saga, created by Shigeru Miyamoto's father Mario. Combining adventure, action and puzzles this great game viewed from above has often been copied at the time, never equaled.
The legend of Zelda II: Adeventure of Link (NES) is a puzzling and refreshing on. Do not maintaining the principle of the episode founder, this new Zelda dares more difficult approach, with dungeons and action scenes in 2D and a RPG appearance than the last. Exploration is here further because the signs are rare, except in villages where the characters are introduced to help. It is not uncommon to lose as the card is great and the difficulty of the game can quickly disconcerted, but Zelda is a great result, not always understood and appreciated at its proper level.
The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
The most legendary of all first 3D episode of the saga, this episode brings a lot of new features that marked his time (day-night cycle, enemies locking, dynamic music, view to first person for archery , horse movement ...) and an epic and memorable adventure that will take you through a unique and unforgettable country, to meet different tribes and tough monsters. This episode is considered by many to be the best and incomparable Zelda. A true reference, even 10 years after its release in stores. (This disc also contains the Master Sword version, which is an alternative vision of original dungeons).
The Legend of Zelda:. Majora's Mask (N64)
The 2nd episode on Nintendo 64 also plays the revival of the map. Instead of simply a beast after the first 3D episode, Nintendo decided here to propose a different adventure, with a dark and melancholy mood than usual. This episode is the second to be much maligned (after Zelda II), on her left took confusing. Indeed, the quest takes place in a parallel world to Hyrule, where the end of the world is on the point of arrival. This leaves three days the player is to save the world who knows lost. The game system makes it possible to go back in time to start these three days every time the end is too close. The progress and the main objects are preserved, but past events, forgotten by all.
The stress generated by time, and the melancholic atmosphere and nostalgic characters knowing they lost, brings a unique and mature atmosphere this episode really apart.
A playable demo of 30 minutes from The legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Gamecube first episode) is also available on this disc, which is really the ultimate collection for all lovers of great games.
