The ultimate solution to perform satellite cable through the roof

Preliminary note:
Looking for suitable options for roof penetration of cable my satellite dish I thought that would have to be pushed somehow under the tiles. But then I came across this product and completely thrilled.

Mounting on the mast:
The mast cap consists of two parts and is made of thick black plastic. The lower part is placed onto the antenna mast. The indication in the article description 48-60 mm is not entirely accurate. The tube diameter must be at either 48-50 mm or 60 mm, as this two receiving rings are present. The 48-pipe fits accurately, the '50s you would have to press properly or located inside receiving ring lugs abfeilen something / cut. The pipe 60 then obviously fits into the outer mounting ring, but what I have not tried. Conclusion: The specification is 48-60mm irreführned because eg a 55er tube gets to the part not mounted without any major tinkering. Supplement (May 2015): In the item description now is no longer "48-60" but "48 or 60".

Implementation of cable:
The lower part, which is placed on the mast has 10 channels in which you can load up to 10 Satkabel, which are then fed into a gentle rounding the pipe. This is very important so that there are no kinks in the coax cables, which could be detrimental to the signal quality.

Cover from above:
The cover encloses the lower part very far, so no rain can (no horizontal well) penetrate into the grommet. It is simply pressed and locked with a 8 noses in the lower part. This makes them so hard that you almost no longer apart gets the part. I have tried this before installation and once had to fumble around for minutes with two screwdrivers in order to separate the two parts. However, this also means that the cap draufsitzt sturmfest. Therefore, the recommendation: Replace the cap until the very end, when all the cables pulled, cut and connected, otherwise there is a proper fumbling on the roof.
Conclusion:
Am glad to have found this product and can therefore dispense with the execution of my 8 cable through the roof tiles. It is an elegant and neat solution. The product is well made and get me full 5 stars. The Mastkappe sold under different names by different vendors. However, it is one and the same product.
