Well, I've been given about 25 years ago (1989) this CD. I was first shocked by this audacity, both in the interpretation, the music recording as well as in redundant the CD booklet. Here Details: 1. The interpretation of the Well-Tempered Clavier by Andras Schiff is mediocre. Although Andras Schiff is an excellent pianist, he has only addressed with this interpretation, the oldest generation - in other words - the generation that appeals mostly to the shallow sounds. But I doubt that Bach wanted this! 2. This acoustic mixed with an excessive amount of Hall contradicts my idea of a clear piano recording. This can be done with Andre Rieu's waltz shots like, but please do not here! 3. The Bach-Werke-directory for the tracks on the disc was totally ignored in the booklet. What shoud that ?!
