When I have the Antec DF-35 first saw, I fell directly into the cool design and also slammed quickly despite the statlichen price. At the first assembly then me kammen already first doubts about my decision. There are virtually no cable management, only a small corner in the back is provided for this purpose. This means in plain language that there is not enough space for all cables. I had to stow away a great deal of cable forward for hard disks and this has even with many cable ties works reasonably. Among them, unfortunately, of course, the airflow of the entire housing.
Decoupling for hard drives or power supply is also looking in vain, what should be standard at this price now. But the upper Pops bring the fan !, the parts are so loud that you might think, even with minimal adjustment to have available a wind tunnel of Globetrotter under my desk. This can not be desweitern ans motherboard but only the AC adapter connected directly. What is also a system of software (Speedfan etc.) impossible.
Despite everything, here are a few pros of the housing:
The Hot Swap is pretty cool, especially for the fast transfer of large data volumes, hereby I never had any problems.
The housing with the white fan LEDs throughout a cool look.
The temperatures are usually low because the installed turbines allow no heat.
All in all, totally overpriced and in my view very poorly thought out the housing, here probably was more emphasis on design. In the area of almost Euro Hunder should now USB 3.0 (which also lacks) and Kabelmanagmant be standard.
